Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) are unique partnerships between patients, GPs and their practice which is essential to, and results in, high quality and responsive care.
PPGs work in partnership with their GP practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of services and quality of care, foster improved communication between the practice and its patients and provide practical support for the practice and help to implement change.
PPG work at practices includes:
- Patient surveys
- A 'Celebration and Frustration' feedback form for patients
- A waiting room update message telling you if there is a delay to see a doctor
