GP Registrar Training

Brookfield Surgery is a training practice for GP Registrars. Dr Rao is the GP Trainer. It is sometimes necessary for consultations to be video-recorded for teaching purposes. Patients will be notified and their consent sought prior to any video consultations.


Practice Manager

Debbie Taylor is the Practice Manager  she is responsible for the overall smooth running and organisation of the practice. She is happy to hear your comments - both good and bad.

Practice Administration Staff

The practice has a full complement of administration staff covering reception, secretarial and IT duties.

The reception staff are happy to help and advise. It may sometimes be necessary for them to ask you for some information in order to ensure that you are receiving the most appropriate level of service. All practice staff adhere strictly to the practice confidentiality policy.


Advanced Nurse Practitioner 

Sister C Geggie RGN has taken on the role of advanced nurse practitioner within the surgery, working with the clinical team to support GPs and patient triage. 

Practice Nurses

The Practice Nurses, Sister Emma Jacobs RGN, Nurse Jane Newsholme RGN and Nurse Lynn Hill can be consulted directly by appointment. Please attend for advice and information regarding:

Blood pressure screening and monitoring Chronic disease management
Travel immunisation and advice General advice and support
Well woman and men's health issues Cervical smears
Dietary advice and weight management Flu vaccines
Asthma clinic Childhood immunisation

Health Visitor

The Health Visitor can be contacted by telephoning the Clinic on 01925 867908.


Community Midwife

The Midwife provides antenatal and postnatal visits in conjunction with your doctor.


Mental Health Practitioner

Heather Rahman is part of the Clinical Team.


First Contact Physio

The physiotherapist will:

  • Give expert advice on how best to manage your condition

  • Assess you and diagnose what's happening

  • Refer you on to specialist services if necessary


Clinical Pharmacist 

Muhammad Farooq is our clinical pharmacist working in the practice. He will help to advise patients who have medication queries.

Our practice is inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure we are meeting essential standards of quality and safety.
